I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1999 and soon after specialised in working with adults with dysphagia. I have been performing Videofluoroscopy assessments as a Lead Speech and Language Therapist since 2006. My previous posts have been at the Royal Free Hospital, Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) and Barts Health NHS Trust. I have been in my current post at Luton and Dunstable Hospital for 5 years as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Head and Neck Cancer. Along with Katherine and my SLT colleagues, we have been working towards improving the capacity in Videofluoroscopy clinics as well as standardising clinic procedures and reporting.
